1.- Filing information – Australia Patent

• Our completed Patent Order Form.
• Copy of the specification of invention, claims and drawings.
• Spanish translation of the specification.
• Declaration of Inventor if applicant is not the inventor. Notarized and legalized by the Guatemalan consulate.
• Official certified priority document, including priority number and country of origin.

Annuities:

The first annuity is paid before the third year from the filing date, if the patent certificate has been issued. If it has not been issued, the annuities that had been reached before the certificate issue must be paid within 2 month from the certificate issue date.

Exam:

The exam should be filed within 24 months after the filing date.
