Law 43: Further to the end of the Federation of Serbia and Montenegro coming from the declaration of Independence of the Republic of Montenegro, Serbia and Montenegro are now two independent states. The Republic of Serbia is the legal successor of the former State Union.

All Intellectual Property Rights issued from the Former Union of Serbia and Montenegro have been incorporated in the new country name Republic of Serbia.
