2. Name, address and citizenship of the Inventor(s).
3. Invention Title, Abstract of the Invention or Design.
4. Invention specifications in English.
5. Claims.
6. Formal Drawings.
7. Statement Justifying the Applicant's right to the invention.
8. Certified priority document, including priority number and country of origin.
9. Power of Attorney (Patent Form 17)

A Malaysian Patent is effective for a term of: 20 years (from the filing date). 5 years for pharmaceutical products and agricultural chemicals (this period could be extended).

The Utility Models are effective for a term of 20 years
